One down…many to go…and what a lovely start it was for the Back2Skool Tour this morning at the quaint Penn State Abington Campus in Abington, PA.
Firstly I’d like to thank everyone that came to the show, I wish we had entertainment at 10am when I was in College, it would have got me out of bed a little earlier and subsequently reduced my tally of missed lectures.
A couple of things of note from day 1 of the tour:
- I’m finally getting the hang of driving in this country.
- Pennsylvania Turnpike is nicer than the New Jersey Turnpike (no offense)
- I love being able to play music for a living
- I wish I was still in College :)
Until today, I didn’t think it was possible to play a show that early in the morning but it’s actually a cool idea. Grab some breakfast, listen to Nick Howard, hit your next class, stick on the Nick Howard CD’s you bought during your breakfast, learn the words, become an official Nick Howard fan and devote your life to him…something like that anyway.
So the first show is complete, it’s off to rehearsal for me…check out the pics from today below and see you at the next one :)

The Lovely Campus…

The lovely LEAP committee…
