My voyage into Pennsylvania continued today with shows at two Colleges in York, a lovely town which I discovered was the nation’s capital for a period during the civil war and also boasts the title of the nations softball capital…not two accolades you’d usually associate with one another :)

So a couple of funny things that happened today:
1- A rather eager member of the crowd lit fire to some paper to wave from side to side during one of my songs - which is needless to say a first for me. I laughed through most of the performance.
2- York College, and Penn State York are NOT the same College…so when I asked where the radio station was at Penn State York after my show you can understand why they were a little confused. Note to self - double check bookings in towns with more than one College :)
3- Incidentally, York College was equally lovely and I was fortunate enough to do an interview and play some songs for WVYC FM which will air on Friday. Check in online and take a listen.

So here I am in DC for my show tomorrow at the Kennedy Center. Read about the ASCAP Foundation’s ‘Songwriters: The Next Generation’ showcase here.

Updates on this show to come tomorrow…in the meantime I thought I’d introduce you to Rocky…my wheels for this tour…these rims get me a lot of attention…usually from thieves
