Well yesterday was something special alright…take a look at the first venue I played in Washington DC a couple of years ago…

It’s no Madison Square Garden is it? So you can imagine what was going through my mind when I turned up here last night to perform as part of the ASCAP Foundation’s ‘Songwriters: The Next Generation’ series at The Kennedy Center:

Man, I gotta start making this a habit right? This is more like it :)
I had the best time last night and got to share the stage with the Danny Rivera Electric 5 it’s not every day I co-bill with a Jazz Quintet…they definately kept me on my toes :)
The Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center has free music 365 days a year and gives folks like me to get a once in a lifetime shot at performing at one of the world’s most esteemed music venues…that’s right…I said ‘esteemed’ in a sentence about myself…whatever..I play at The Kennedy Center these days so deal with it ;)
Check out some pictures below and make sure you watch the performance HERE
Lastly I want to thank my friends and noble followers who came out to support me last night, the kind and flattering crowd, many of whom were kind enough to take my music home with them, and the ASCAP Foundation, who have supported me in so many ways this year, and to whom I owe a great deal of gratitude. Enjoy :)

That was one of the coolest things I’ve done to date…two more shows today, one at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at Midday and then at Mercury Lounge tonight…see you there!
