Okay…I’ve been on the road for 3 days so the title of this post is a little silly…but you spend an hour away from this city and you start to miss it…so you see where I’m coming from…it’s always nice to be back home…
This week has been awesome, I’ve played some great Colleges, played at The Kennedy Center and had some great experiences but nothing compares to playing in your home town…and it’s made better when hundreds of your most loyal fans show up in full force to welcome you back :)

More on that later because first up yesterday was a visit to the Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital where the kids were kind enough to let me play in their Winter Garden and to let me visit some of them in their rooms and jam out for a little while. Nothing puts life into more perspective than this experience and it’s by far the most rewarding thing I get to do with my music…by a long long way:

Later that evening it was time to take the stage at the Mercury Lounge, a venue that has kind of become my second home here in New York…and for good reason :)
I had the pleasure of tri-billing (is that a word?) with my friends Cooper and Derek James, two fantastic artists you should check out now…
I sincerely want to thank everyone who came down and made the night what it was…you guys humble me with your support and I am so lucky to be able to do what I love…all thanks to you.

Thanks again :)
