2/1 Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow..

I’m glad I have an SUV, put it that way…

True, it may not be the best thing for the planet, but when your going 50mph and the road you’re on suddenly turns into a ski slope…you want some wheels that stick :)

And that’s how I got up here to the Finger Lakes area where I’m playing over the next four days. Cayuga College today, Onodaga tomorrow, Jefferson College on Wednesday and Morrisville State on Thursday.

Throw some radio and TV tapings into the mix and I’ve got a pretty busy week…more on the radio/tv stuff to come :)

After a small mishap regarding start time (good job I leave super early to get to these shows), I eventually took the stage at Cayuga…

Three cool things:

1- One of the students (and unfortunately I didn’t get her name) played one of her own songs for me after my set…flattering that people care what I think of their own material, thank you for that! :)

2- I was treated to a Taco Bel after the show…I haven’t had one since that story about the Rats nesting in the New York City restaurant broke…but they don’t have rats all the way up here right :/

3- This part of NY state is lovely, despite passing a town en route in PA that I swear was called ‘Scrotum’ the Fingerlake region is awesome, check it out:

Pretty nice right?

Tomorrow I’m playing at Onodaga College and then heading over to Z89 WJPZ-FM for an in studio performance and interview…fun!
