I had been told that Munich was something to behold, and that was no lie. Like many countries, traveling from North to South or from East to West introduces you to so many varying cultures and dialects, it’s often like being in a different country when you pass from one region to the next. Germany is no exception and the Bavarian capital is completely unique.
Take for instance the fact that Munich’s Technical University offers a degree program in Brewing…if that isn’t characteristic of the region I don’t know what is. Beer drinking is a religion here, and the brewing process is something of an art, with breweries in Bavaria having to follow a strict set of rules in order to operate their business. I dived a little head first into some Bavarian cuisine today but first let me tell you about last night’s show at Ampere…

Again and again, the amazing fans of Germany have been sending me pics from the show…here is another…

…and as always, the support from you guys has been amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the emails, pictures and videos you’ve been sending me.
The winner of the ‘cutest’ Nick Howard fan has to go to this budding concert goer
As always, thanks to all of you who hung around last night after the show to pick up my CD’s/T-Shirts and stick around for autographs…two standouts were a) the girls who had me record a happy birthday video for their friend who couldn’t attend and b) the girls who has brought with them nick howard photos from home for me to sign…gaining fans on this tour is amazing enough…having fans already in these towns is mind blowing.
Speaking of mind-blowing…I had an amazing schnitzel meal for lunch today and can safely say that Nick Howard is a fan of Bavarian food…he is also a fan of Munich’s amazing architecture and gorgeous streets…it’s like a real life Disney World here:

It’s official…I’m in love with Germany :)
Lastly, the boy in me couldn’t help visit the Olympic Park and the BMW Headquarters and Museum, where I saw a) the site of Englands 5-1 thrashing of Germany a few years ago (sorry new German fans, but you’ve beaten us enough times for me to get excited about one victory:) and b) the car I’m going to buy when I have my first number 1 album :)
See you in Vienna..
