3/16: The signs really are in Welsh…

Out of complete ignorance and stupidity, when someone told me that in Wales, all signs are in Welsh, I thought they were joking…turns out that they weren’t. Wales is fantastic…I’ve seen two sides of it over the last 24hrs - 1) Cardiff, an awesome city with great music fans that gave us a great opening UK leg show last night and 2) The stunning Wales country side which my GPS decided to show me en route to Liverpool instead of using the motorway…while it was a tad frustrating to get stuck behind a tractor for 4 hours straight…I sure enjoyed the scenery…

Parts of it were like a Hugh Grant movie…but I guess if you’re going to tour the UK, you’ve got to be ready for anything…

Here’s a fun pic from last night’s show at Cardiff University…

And here we are in Liverpool…the next stop on my Beatles history tour…we’re going to go and check out the Cavern Club after soundcheck which I’m really excited about…come on back here for pics later on :) For now I’ll leave you with an excerpt from the lovely Welshlanguage:

‘Mae fy hofrenfad yn llawn llyswennod’

No, that wasn’t a browser or keyboard error…it actually means:

‘My Hovercraft is full of eels’
